P.E

This week for P.E we had a quick game of stuck in the middle (mud).
Which Is Pretty much dodge ball with a little bit more there are three sections,
 Two lines of people on the outside and a group of people in the middle, If you get picked to be in the middle you grab a rubber dot, one foot as to be in contact with your dot the whole time.
The people on the outside get a few rubber balls, Then for the fun part if you have a ball you try and look for People that aren't looking and then you try through the rubber ball at them know higher than the hips, If you hit it above the waist on purpose you are immediately sent to time out when you have to step out of the game and someone will your place. once you hit them You change spots so the person how got hit has to go onto the outside. I rate It a 8 because one of the reasons my Minus because the same people are  in the middle every-time so Next time we need more balls, My Plus Is that It is a creative game and everyone has fun :).

Impact 2014

Impact 2014- This week for impact we had Doreen Douglas come to our class impact we Made a salad and It was delicious and we planted some carrots, Broccoli, lettuce and radish and some other things we have alot of things to carry on with we Might be getting 2 chickens for eggs and we are making to dishes Vegetable pizza and Suzuki Muffins we have to make a worm farm as well so we have to collect scraps and tea bags. 

Marimbas :)

This year I'm in the year 7 & 8 Marimba group 
Which we started today
 I am on a Marimba with Caitlin and Sam
I am on the end which is called the Top marimba 
and we have practiced 2 songs 
one was an African song I had a great Experience
 and cant what till next week.

We have started doing Our Impact this year I am in the garden to table impact group
we have our own garden and have done alot of work in Mr Hitchmens  shed
We are starting to think about what food we are going to make a cookbook as well
next week we are planning to go down to our local garden centre and look at seeds and there

leadership camp highlights

This Year instead of our camp we had a leadership night,

 It was all about leadership and teamwork (team-building)

 We got shouted for our dinner by the teachers, Burgers and fries. 

And for desert make your own sundaes, at the start of the first day 

 we had the head girl and head boy, And the had a long speech about how they became good 

leaders, and then we had five activities and then we watched a movie at the end of the day remember the Titans. and the next day we packed up and left.

 

NPS 2014

What I'm looking forward to....
Impact- I'm really looking forward for impact this year,
And just trying my best to help others in the community.
I really want to cook for the elderly and learn all sorts of different things
Groups- I really Want to get into good reading writing and math groups, I'm going to try my best a every subject to achieve my goal.

Something new I'm going to try this year.........
Reading- I am going to try really hard on my reading and make sure
I re-read carefully, I am going to focus more at meetings and make sure I try hard on my reading roles.
Writing- I need to make sure I use descriptive language and use PUNCTUATION more.
Maths- I need to ask for help when I need it and practice homework at home and try and answer as much questions as I can.

My first impression of NPS......
The First day I wouldn't imagine How we had got that much furniture, there was alot,
And the Rm 8 and rm 9 wall got knocked down, all the year 7's nervous faces when we Line up
out side waiting to enter into the classroom.

The first week......
The first week was Well tiring and stressful,
but It turned out to be a fun couple of days
 On that Thursday we had our leader ship camp.
 We did alot of team-building.

My summer highlights

The Clock strikes 12 the afternoon has begun, I pack my back, rush out the door and through my belongings in the door and slam it shut,

We jump into the car, the raindrops spit down the windscreen. While the rain slowly eases down we arrive To our destination The wonderful bright yellow circle in the sky glimmered over the clear blue ocean this is heaven to me, flying out the door and next we no We're diving into clear blue ocean, we go back to the bach l straight to sleep and waiting for the next day to come.
