NYLD 2014

Yesterday we had National Young Leaders Day 

We meet 6 speakers 

Charlie Laumatia

Frances valintine

Jamie Fitzgerald 

The Laughing somans  

Laura Langnam

Cam Calkoen 

The all had Different story's to tell 

some where about sports and others about team work Etc 

The all had great story's and they a proving to be Great Leaders 

The also speak around the country it was a great experience and 

I learnt a lot about leadership.

I learnt a lot of things I didn't already know about leadership, My Favourite quote of the day was DREAM BIG ACHIEVE MORE!!!! It really Inspired me to chase me dream and believe that I can do what ever is possible Like to one man Jamie Fitzgerald how rowed for over 40 days around Antarctica and walked around it in his journey he lost 32kg. 

My Favourite speaker off the day would probably be Cam Calkoen because he has a great background story and even know he is different He should be treated the same as everybody else.

This week we are doing portraits of our partners,
we are mostly working on the shading and shaping part of the portraits,
I have so far sketched Jordyn and Olivia I mostly need to work on my Shading Be
cause It gives the Picture texture I am proud of
My Portraits.

Impact :)

This week we planned what we wonted it to look like
 and what colour we are going to paint it 
we have decided to do a mushroom shape and the colour red and white 
we having 2 bean Bags, 2 jelly bean chair, 1 planket, 2 desks and 3-5 pillows 
That is what people voted the most of 
we are having 2 ladders and 1 slide to get up and down 
we are having a little book shelf under the treehouse for peoples books 
And also having a little passage way to slip our computers and books etc only 11 
people didn't won't a slide and 40 did. 

Made Awards 2014

For the made awards we have been thinking of people to be 

Characters in our video we have found a few people 

I am in charge of the costuming, Jordyn is in charge of the hair/make up 

I reckon this is going to be a great experience and Fun to do,

We have started the script 

and have thought of ideas of where we are 

going to film the video.

Writing 2014

This week we are doing a character description on someone close to us I have Planned to do it on my Mum this is what I have so far. 

She makes my bed and finds a fluffy pillow for my Head, She Cleans the house every day and still has time to come out and play, she types on the keyboard dark and dawn, she cooks for me and feeds the chooks with me,

her arms are always wide open to me for a hug,  she may not be perfect to other people but perfect for me.

Her shiny golden hair flicks up in the air,

her big bright and beautiful smile makes

her shine even brighter than every star in the sky, her pearly white teeth sparkle In the pitch blackness, her eyes twinkle like fire flies, I love you mum even more than a thousand hugs.

To all the mothers out there your children love you the may not show it but the do, you’re not just there mother you’re there best friend. :)

Made awards

This term we are doing the made awards we split into groups
And find choose different things that we want to do such as static image, music video, documentary, story telling and graphic design I have chosen to do story telling with my group we are doing the book hunter and have to tell the story in a well designed video.

What I did in the holidays........

Go to Mystics vs Magic netball game 

And Training for netball, as well as hanging with my friends,

My friends and I sold feijoa Bags for 2$ every 800g we made 70$ 

And spent that money At the movies.

What I want to achieve this term........

Completing my tasks that my teachers set my groups and 

concentrating on my learning and not talking to friends  

And HAVE FUN!!!.
