A few weeks ago we started gymnastics at P.E. For a start we laid out some mats and focused on
forward and backwards rolls as well as handstands and cartwheels. Then Miss Coles put the spring board out and we did some jumping. It was a bit of a challenge for me at the start but now I have the hang of it.
- What have you found a challenge? Why? Probably for me the most challenging thing would be the handstands and cartwheels because I just can't get my legs up high enough to balance my self.
- What have you got better at? How/why? I have got better at my landing skills because I have been practicing my balancing.
- What are you loving about gymnastics? Why?Probably learning new things and experimenting. As well as experimenting with the string board. By experimenting I can get better at things.
- What are your next steps? Why? How are you going to achieve them?, To keep on working on new techniques and practice my handstands and forward rolls.
